That pretty sures up my childhood and the reason I went into advertising. Yesterday we went to the garlic Fest around Salem. Truth be told I wanted to see their mascot the Elephant/garlic. I dressed in a new cutest denim romper and looked for him endlessly. And, he was no where to be found. I told Ed this is not the same festival that had the country charm. And tasty goodies. But it was the lack of the guy roming around in the big stuffed animals suit that was gone.
I've often wondered what LSD gobbling pack of lunatics decides on the choice of Olympic Mascots. I mean it never seems like anyone of sound mind in any country votes for these things. I suspect this is how the Illuminati shows their power over mankind.
